Please note that there are a few areas where you are not allowed to sail with Boaty, such as the IJ, the Kostverlorenvaart, and the Nieuwe Herengracht. How much does it cost to rent a boat in Amsterdam?
With Boaty, you can cruise Amsterdam’s canals for just €89 for three hours, whether you arrive during the week or on the weekend. Want to extend your experience? Simply extend your trip to four hours for a small additional fee. And if you’re heading out early, our morning rate applies, making it extra affordable. Depart between 9:00 and 10:00 AM and save €10 off the regular price. Our rates include seat cushions, life jackets, instruction, and a water map.

Boat rental location
Our boat rental is located on a floating dock on Jozef Israëlskade, in the heart of the vibrant De Pijp district. You’ll find us right next to the famous Hotel Okura, the only tall building in the area with a Dutch flag on its roof. This makes it easy to find. Enter Ferdinand Bolstraat 333 into your navigation system; you don’t need to enter the hotel, as we’ll be waiting for you on the dock. Thanks to its central location, Boaty is easily accessible by bike, tram, or metro. Coming by car? Paid parking is available nearby.
