About Boaty
Boaty is a licensed Amsterdam boat rental company, in operation since 2008. Its founders, owners and managers are Roos and JP. We work with a young and enthusiastic team of local students. Our goal is to facilitate an unforgettable time on the Amsterdam canals to you and your crew. By renting out decent boats, with a personal service, at the best rates in town. Over the years this has resulted in hundreds of guests reviews averaging well above 4,5 stars.
Opening hours
We’re open 7 days a week from mid-March until mid-October. The earliest departure time is 9 AM and the latest return time is half an hour before sunset. Please make sure to book in advance. Otherwise, you might arrive at our dock only to find out we’re fully booked (when the weather is nice) or closed (if we don’t have any other reservations and the weather is not too good).

We’re looking forward to welcoming you and your ‘crew’ at our dock. In order to avoid disappointments, please make sure to make a booking before you come over to our jetty. If you want to go out today, please call +3120 261 7061. For all other days please make your booking online.
Location
Your Amsterdam canal tour starts and ends at our private jetty, conveniently located in ‘De Pijp’ district at the southern side of the city center. Our exact location is at Jozef Israëlskade, but since we’re in the canal, we do not have a house number. So for your navigation it’s best to use the address of our neighbours of Hotel Okura: Ferdinand Bolstraat 333.
