Boaty Rent a Boat Amsterdam is located in the southern city center. You'll find our rental boats at the Jozef Israëlskade between Ferdinand Bolstraat and Tweede van der Helststraat. We don't have a house number. Our jetty is in the canal, right next to the famous hotel Okura (the only high rise building around, mostly with a Dutch flag on top). We recommend to come by foot or bike or to travel by public transport.
BIKING / WALKING
Following a straight line from the city center in a southerly direction will bring you to our rental location: Central Station-Damrak-Dam Square-Rokin-Munt Square-Vijzelstraat-Heineken Brewery-Ferdinand Bolstraat-pass the Albert Cuypmarkt on your left hand side-cross Ceintuurbaan-continue on Ferdinand Bolstraat.
Coming from the east or the west, it is easiest to follow Ceintuurbaan and turn south towards the RAI on Ferdinand Bolstraat.
On Ferdinand Bolstraat turn left between the entrance of hotel hotel Okura (on your left hand side) and the bridge over the canal. After 50 meters on the foot / bicycle path you'll see our jetty in the canal. To your left hand side shortly after our jetty you will find a bicycle parking.
TRAM
Tram lines 12 (Amstel station - Sloterdijk station) and 25 (Central station - President Kennedylaan) have stops close to the rental location. Get out at Scheldestraat and walk to the north (city center) on Scheldestraat. Cross the bridge and take a right directly after the canal. After 50 meters on the foot path you'll see our jetty in the canal.
TRAIN
From train station Amsterdam RAI it is a 15-20 minute walk to the rental location. Walk north towards the city center through Scheldestraat and cross the Churchill-laan. Than cross the bridge and take a right directly after the canal. After 50 meters on the foot path you'll see our jetty in the canal.
CAR
Take exit S109 at the highway A10 and follow 'RAI' (exhibition center). You can park at the RAI for euro 12,- per day. You can find the RAI parking with the route planner or your in car navigation system by filling out Europaplein 22 as your destination. Walk towards the city center through Scheldestraat and cross the Churchill-laan. Than cross the bridge and take a right directly after the canal. After 50 meters on the foot path you'll see our jetty in the canal.
You can also park your car on the street near the rental location. Fill out Ferdinand Bolstraat / corner Amstelkade as your destination. Don't forget to get a parking ticket! On Sundays parking is free of charge.
